Julio is a private attorney with the Law Offices of Joseph A. Trevino & Associates. Located in Greenbelt, Maryland, the firm concentrates on criminal representation, family law and civil litigation. He regularly practices in many of the state’s jurisdictions and in U.S. District Court. 

Julio received his undergraduate degree at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. He majored in political science. Julio then attended Boston University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts. He worked at the U.S. Department of Labor before beginning his law practice. 

Both of Julio’s parents are from Guatemala. He credits his cultural background with instilling core values that tremendously assist him professionally. Working in a diverse metropolitan area gives him the opportunity to represent a wide variety of clients. 

Julio has been a member of the Maryland Hispanic Bar for several years and served as the organization’s president during the 2006-2007 year.
