Jamie L. Alvarado-Taylor, Esq.

Jamie L. Alvarado-Taylor a Partner in the Personal Injury Litigation Department at Stein Sperling Bennett DeJong Driscoll, P.C, where she has practiced for the last 9 years. Prior to joining Stein Sperling, Jamie handled criminal defense and family law matters at Jezic & Moyse. Jamie handles cases in both Maryland and Virginia state courts, as well as the U.S. District Court of Maryland and both the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia.

Jamie has been actively involved Bar Associations for her entire career. In Maryland, Jamie is a past president of the Maryland Hispanic Bar Association as well as an active member Maryland State Bar Association, and the Bar Association of Montgomery County. She is a graduate of the Maryland State Bar Association’s Leadership Academy, Class of 2022 (, where she met her co-presenter, Samantha Dos Santos), and a member of the MSBA’s Nominating Committee In Virginia, Jamie is actively involved with the Fairfax Bar Association and the Virginia Trial Lawyers’ Association. 

Jamie has been recognized as a Super Lawyer’s Rising Star each year since 2020, and most recently recognized as a Best Lawyers Ones To Watch for 2024. She is a recipient of the Daily Record’s 2024 Leaders in Law “Generation J.D.” award. Additionally, Jamie was recognized as a Maryland State Bar Association Bar Fellow in 2021, and as a Bar Association of Montgomery County Bar Leader in 2019. Jamie is a native of New York City, as well as a native Spanish speaker.
