Natalia Medina Ahn
Natalia Medina Ahn, born in Puerto Rico and the first attorney in her family, is now an experienced litigator, in-house counsel, and public servant. Natalia currently serves as Deputy Legal Counsel to Maryland Governor Wes Moore. In this capacity, she advises the Governor and the executive branch on a wide-variety of legal matters. She previously served as General Counsel overseeing litigation and legal services for Montgomery County Public Schools; investigated and prosecuted hundreds of criminal matters as a seasoned prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia; counseled executives as in-house litigation and employment law counsel for a global federal contractor and consulting firm; and began her career by conducting commercial and employment litigation at a top-10 grossing global and AmLaw 100 law firm. Natalia's background, life experiences, and wide-ranging legal experience -- in criminal and civil litigation, and as in-house counsel in the private and public sectors -- provides context, variability of perspective, and informs her judgment, allowing her to quickly assess, understand, and resolve issues faced by a variety of cultural, socio-economic, ethnic and racial communities.
