David Ascencio, Esq.

David Ascencio, Esq. is an experienced attorney focusing on personal injury, immigration, and civil matters. He is deeply committed to advocating for underserved communities and providing compassionate, high-quality legal representation.

Born in December 1979 in Usulután, El Salvador, David was raised by hardworking parents who did everything they could to give him and his sister opportunities they themselves never had. From a young age, David demonstrated determination and discipline—traveling every weekend to San Salvador, nearly two hours from his hometown, to study English.

After graduating from high school, David pursued his legal education at the University of José Matías Delgado, where he earned his law degree and later passed the Notary examination. With the unwavering support of his parents, David moved to Maryland to earn a master’s degree in international law at American University. This experience broadened his perspective and exposed him to new possibilities, solidifying his desire to build a future dedicated to service and advocacy.

Recognizing the urgent need for legal support within the immigrant community, David sought opportunities to work in immigration law. After persistent effort, he found mentors who opened the door for him to learn and grow in the field—guidance for which he remains deeply grateful. He continued gaining experience alongside other attorneys until he felt ready to take the next step.

In 2021, David founded The Law Office of David Ascencio, expanding his practice to include personal injury law. What began as a solo practice has grown exponentially over four years into a thriving firm with a dedicated team. David attributes this growth to the firm’s core mission: serving the Hispanic community with dignity, respect, and unwavering commitment.

David’s goal is for every client to feel valued, heard, and confident that their legal matters are being handled with the utmost care and professionalism.
